A stunning boutique hotel full of character, interesting spaces and every room is unique. We didn't have time to try the Spa, but the staff were so friendly and show guests to their room, which you dont get very often anymore.

We booked the room under my partner’s name and modified the booking to add my name as a guest. Partner was sick and unable to be present. As such, l modified the guest name but there were some issues of communication between the booking platform and the hotel.

However, after talking to the manager, I was able to resolve the matter and he explained to me the situation. I found that the assistance was genuine and he explained to me what happened on their end.

The rooms have names of famous people and the set up in the lobby is exceptional. I like the intrinsic designs and the objects placed around the hotel. It gave a lot of flavour to the place. Room and toilet are clean.

I would recommend contacting the hotel to directly to make bookings in the future though. It was unfortunate during the checkin but the rest of the stay was good.

A rather eclectic place, but somewhere different is a nice change! Wasn't keen on the breakfast selection, but that's probably a personal choice as there wasn't anything wrong with it.

A super unique and positive experience. We stayed here over a month ago and werse super pleased. First of all we made a mistake when booking and the manager gladly helped us out and was forthcoming even though it was our mistake. the staff in general was really friendly throughout the stay.

The interior of the hotel is very special: little figurines, pictures and other collectables everywhere. We loved it.

The breakfast was delicious with a great choice. The best thing was probably the afternoon tea - an absolutely great deal. 20 pounds for a pot of tea and the biggest choice of pastry and sandwiches.

The location was good. As two women, we never felt unsafe. We took the DLR from Limehouse Station which would take us straight to the Central Line. It was super easy and convenient to get to the city centre. What I will say is that Limehouse itself doesn't have too much to offer. We took a walk around the little basin which was nice. We also liked the proximity to Greenwich. We never made it there before since it's quite a ride from the city centre. From Limehouse it is super easy though.

I've been to London very often and this hotel is a gem. I will definitely be coming back.

I was very positively surprised by this hotel - the rooms are spacious, super clean, and provide extra amenities that other London hotels don’t at this price point. The staff is super friendly and value for money in great. Of course the art design is a matter of taste, but the hotel is genuinely filled with fun ideas and interesting pieces. Will return!

Such a fantastic and a completely luxurious hotel! The decor here is the best decor I have seen in years! The staff was so sweet and polite, the location is quite central with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Would surely recommend staying here for at least one night.

We stayed for two nights. Travel to the hotel was simple, a short walk from Limehouse DLR station. Booking in was very easy, we were shown to our room by the receptionist. Everything about the decor is wonderful. The corridors have gorgeous art and floor coverings, the stairs to the mezzanine level and rooftop bar have lovely plants. During our second day we had a wonderful cream tea with a group of relatives who weren't staying in the hotel but joined us in the rooftop bar.
Breakfast was amazing such variety and great quality. This was matched by great service. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay.

We had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside with beautiful art, decor and fun trinkets the owner has collected. The rooms are very roomy, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast is hands down the best hotel breakfast with tons of options incliding Turkish. The dinner at the hotel is very good. One night I had the lamb burger and another the Turkish ravioli that were both delicious. The hotel staff is very attentive, professional and impeccable attention to detail. Highly recommend this location.

Stayed for a few days for MCM Comic Con in May 2024. Brilliant location that’s only a few minutes walk from the DLR.

Hotel itself is gorgeous, the aesthetic is incredibly inviting and interesting with the antique models and toys displayed in the main lobby and foyer. The bar, which we didn’t use, was very pretty also and fit into the general aesthetic. I really cannot stress how beautiful this hotel is.

Staff were really lovely and friendly, check in was straightforward, we were even guided to our room. Shout out to the really nice staff member who burnt sage and had a nice conversation with my partner and I!

Every room is themed after an author and you get to learn more about that author throughout your stay which is a really fun and unique touch.

Rooms have all basic necessities, ours had a double bed, a tv which you could connect your phone to via chrome-cast that was useful. Also featured was an optional mini bar, a shower with toilet+sink as well as a hairdryer.

Upon checking out, the lady at the counter gave us a business card and said next time we book, if we mention that we stayed here before they may even possibly give us a discount. Really great gesture, these guys know how to impress their customers. Top stuff - we will 100% be staying again next time we’re visiting for comic con.

Really lovely and special hotel, we will be back. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it’s incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. Every room is decorated in the theme of a specific well known figure - we were in the Freud room which was beautiful and simple, and well appointed. The communal areas are gorgeous - the rooftop bar is particularly special. There are beautiful plants that are very well looked after! Check out is late which was a nice treat.

A few things that I saw in reviews that I was worried about weren’t a problem at all in the end-
- couldn’t hear the DLR from our room besides a very low noise every now and again, but I don’t know if at the other end of the hotel it is different
- air con was not noisy at all
- tv volume is fine
- £100 deposit is just a pre authorisation and is returned in 5-7 days

The only other point to note is that you need photo ID which my partner forgot but they were happy just to accept mine!

Thank you for a great stay at the Limehouse Library, as the website and previous reviews say, a lovely slice of luxury just off the hustle and bustle of the city. Very handy for shows at the Troxy! I enjoyed the relaxation and calm of the Turkish bath and Sauna before the show, and a very lovely breakfast in the morning, before having to sadly check out! Thanks again.

Stayed here while attending a conference event in ExCel.
Beautiful interior and design, wonderful aromas of sage and the eastern style decor transport you to other environs.

Rooms were spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated (each themed after a different author or philosopher)

Staff were wonderful and very helpful.
Excellent value for money.
